Who We Are
The Dodgers are a producing partnership hatched at BAM in 1978 by six friends: Michael David, Doug Johnson, Rocco Landesman, Des McAnuff, Edward Strong and Sherman Warner. From the initial foothold in Brooklyn, the Dodger family grew, migrated to the New York Shakespeare Festival, then to off and on Broadway where they are one of its most prolific producers. They are responsible for over one hundred and fifty productions in North America, London, Europe and Australasia. Their productions have received a host of awards from Broadway’s Tonys (56), Off-Broadway’s Obies, London’s Oliviers, Australia’s Helpmanns and the like.
The Dodgers work out of offices in Times Square and London’s Covent Garden. Their president is Michael David. The original producers of Jersey Boys and currently its productions on Tour in North America and in London.
